www.opensesame.com INTRODUCTION This white paper explores how both the nature of learning content and the context in which we use it have changed. The result is that when deciding whether to create content in- house, or whether to out-source it, is now more complex than ever. The white paper guides the reader through the key considerations in making this choice, providing clarity around the issues, and concludes that while content must still be created in-house sometimes, that is an approach that should only be followed after every other option has been exhausted. 1 ABOUT THE AUTHOR Donald H Taylor is a 25-year veteran of the learning, skills and human capital industries, with experience at every level from design and delivery to chairman of the board.
