Clear differences The patterns of voting for Reskilling/upskilling (the overall #1 option) varied greatly both across different workgroups, and in comparison with the same groups last year. The Workplace L&D and Education cohorts increased support, but it fell among the Self-employed and Vendors. Consulting/mentoring was one of two options in the top half of the global table that increased its vote this year. This was largely driven by increased support from Workplace L&D (+1.1% vs 2021) and Education (+2.2%). Support for Collaborative/social learning rose in every group apart from Workplace L&D, where it fell by 0.6% compared with last year. Among Vendors, it rose by a substantial 2.2%, the largest rise of any option in any cohort. Meanwhile, the largest single fall in any vote was in the Education sector, where support for Personalization/adap- tive delivery fell by 3.5% compared with last year. It may not be surprising that Self-employed consultants voted substantially for Consulting more deeply with the business. At 8.6%, their vote was the highest of any group, and 2.5% above the overall vote. More surprising, perhaps, the Workplace L&D cohort's vote for this option was 0.9% down on last year's vote, and its vote for Showing value was also lower than last year's vote, by 0.4%. The view across workspaces 79% of respondents chose to answer the optional question: 'Which of these best describes where you do most of your work?'
