Linking Onboarding To Skill Development
and Learning
Organiza ons that have successful learning programs are
very o en ones that start learning right away — during
the onboarding phase. The challenge for the remaining
organiza ons is that learning and onboarding are
some mes separate departments. There is also the role
technology plays in connec ng onboarding to learning
— if the LMS and the onboarding pla orms are not
integrated at a systems level, it will strongly hinder any
efforts to connect learning with onboarding. The data
will not smoothly transfer and the ability to connect the
dots with data points from both systems (to see to show

between onboarding and learning more difficult.
