Onboarding in 2022:
What has Changed, and What Remains Critically Important
Having the right systems in place to support early learning is important for onboarding, but being able to
tell if that early learning is having an effect requires more than just one system (or if it is one system, all
the connected modules). Currently, just over half of organiza ons can connect their LMS, HRIS, and ATS
to their onboarding solu on.
Having integrated systems allows for more robust data and analy cs – being able to tell if onboarding
ac vi es had an effect on reten on, talent mobility and even leadership development all requires
systems that are integrated and can provide data that allows organiza ons to see what is working for
them when it comes to onboarding – because just as all companies are not the same, nor is there a one-
size-fits-all prac ce when it comes to onboarding.
