April 2022 OpenSesame Plus Publishers

In today’s workforce, employees need skills that go beyond those required to perform basic job duties. This includes soft skills, mental health in the workplace, language development, and more. To assist with this need and continue to support workers, two new publishers have been added to the OpenSesame Plus catalog.

Mike Veny, Inc.’s mission is “to support you in receiving the gift of emotional wellness through unique learning experiences designed to empower your personal and professional growth.” The courses focus on mental health in the workplace – from how to start the conversation to tools and resources you can use to manage your own mental wellbeing.

“Mike Veny, Inc. is a training company that upskills the workforce with self-service learning that keeps them engaged, present and supported,” said Spencer Thornton, Senior Vice-President of Curation at OpenSesame. “We are excited for the partnership with Mike Veny learning experiences that offer employers solutions for addressing the daily stresses of work and life by prioritizing mental wellness.”

Pronto Spanish Services helps businesses bridge the gap in communication with their native Spanish-speaking employees, patients, and clients. Their online courses include language content across 14 different industries – from healthcare, banking, and food services to construction, law enforcement, and more. The goal of these courses is to help employees and customers increase their Spanish and English proficiency and achieve greater understanding, resulting in client and customer trust and satisfaction, as well as improved employee productivity.

“With more than 18,000 courses, OpenSesame constantly upgrades its OpenSesame Plus library. As we serve more global enterprises, the need for additional global communication courses has grown even more critical” said Thornton.
