About the Speakers:

Tania Pelamatti

Tania Pelamatti is a marine biologist, educator and a National Geographic Explorer who is dedicating her career to the study of plastic pollution and its impact on marine ecosystems. Tania has a Ph.D in Marine Biology from the Centro Interdisciplinario de Ciencias Marinas (CICIMAR-IPN) in Baja California Sur (Mexico); she’s also worked as a researcher at the Italian Institute for the environmental protection and research (ISPRA), monitoring microplastics in Italian waters for the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive.

Damiano Gierotto

Damiano Gierotto is a Senior Account Manager at Skilla, a global leader in e-learning solutions and a trusted content provider for OpenSesame. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and international career in the education industry, Damiano is passionate about helping L&D build effective and engaging training initiatives for their people.
